Bowen has 20 stables on course. Safe boxes with a yard off each one. I have really seen the horses enjoy these yards. The horses seem relaxed, bright and happy in this rural setting. The 1700m Grass track that we do our gallops on is great, it also has a 1600m sand training track.
One the biggest assets training in Bowen is the beach, its 3 minutes away and we give the horses an easy day wading through water to galloping down the beach.
